CHURCH CALENDAR In previous years we had a meeting in June for all organisations to bring dates of special events they were planning. This meeting helped us to avoid clashes of dates and enabled us to spread the activity of the congregation as evenly as possible through the church year. This year we are asking you to contact Fiona in the church office with any special event dates you are planning from September 2023 to June 2024. When we have this information we may contact people individually to make adjustments or call a meeting to do this collectively. You can contact Fiona by email at announcements@trinitygreyabbey.org or leave a note clearly marked at the computer in the office.
BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE (BFTF) Annual Special Collection Each year we have a one-off special collection that contributes towards the repair/maintenance of our facilities. We ask that you prayerfully consider your contribution to God’s work in this way. Contributions can be made using the purple BFTF Special Collection envelope in your Free Will Offering pack, for those who contribute on-line please include ‘BFTF’ and your FWO number. If you do not have Church envelopes and wish to contribute, please use a plain envelope marked ‘BFTF’. If possible, please return your contributions by the last Sunday of May.
VOLUNTEERS are asked to join The Cloughey Heritage Group volunteers at the Old Cloughey Church graveyard at 9.30am on Sat 3rd June to keep the grounds in order. If anyone has a strimmer (and protective gear), or garden shears even better. Also meeting Sat 17th June & 1st July.
If planning to go, please text Geoff Stewart on 07798 734 364, so that if the work has to be called off due to bad weather, we can text all Volunteers to let them know in advance. Please Bring your own light Refreshments, and Sun Cream (if needed!), also sturdy boots, gloves and face guard, the latter needed if using a strimmer. All very welcome!
