REGISTERING FOR SERVICES New registration will be taken every week for each Sunday.
Email your wish to attend between Monday and midnight on Wednesday giving your NAME, NUMBER OF SEATS and LOCATION (Greyabbey or Cloughey) to, if you don’t have email, contact your Elder who will let us know.
If there is a seat reserved for you, you will be contacted on Friday by either email or Elder. (Please check your spam file in case it gets directed there).
Please don’t feel you can’t put your name forward every week, if you wish to, please do so. The seats will all be allocated out fairly between those who wish be there.

 NEW MEMBERS COURSE If you would like to explore becoming a member of the congregation, please email or send a text to 07841 353 790 to let Neil know you are interested. We normally accept new members at our November Communion. It is our intention to do the same this year as long as Covid restrictions don’t change.

 STOREHOUSE DONATIONS All usual grocery items will be greatly received. Storehouse have informed us that they have plenty of soup and beans, so please don’t donate these items at this time.

We have established two mission partnerships. Trinity Greyabbey will work in partnership with Fields of Life, a Missionary organisation working in East Africa. Trinity Cloughey will work in partnership with Challenge Ministries, a Missionary organisation working in Eswatini (Swaziland). We will keep you updated on developments and we encourage you to keep the work of our partners and their staff in your prayers. More info on these organisations can be found on their web pages – and

 Partnership with Challenge Ministries
In response to an urgent appeal identified by Challenge Ministries donations are required. This collection is for dried and tinned foods – items such as rice, tinned meat & vegetables, flour, sugar, powdered milk, packets of dried soup, and porridge are all acceptable. Seeds for planting garden vegetables are welcome. Items that are NOT appropriate for the local culture are Pasta, baked beans & breakfast cereal.
Donations can be left at church during worship on Sunday morning, at our café’s during the week (when they re-open) or we can arrange a collection if you are unable to make it to the church building. Please contact your district elder to arrange a collection.

 Partnership with Fields of Life
We plan to support the construction of an Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centre at Abura P.S., Gulu district, Uganda – a Church of Uganda school that currently has 400 children enrolled. The proposed ECD Centre will accommodate up to 120 pre-school children in age groups of 2-3 years, 3-4 years and 5-6 years.  The facility will include: a separate class room for each age group, a separate kitchen for preparation of food that offers a safe hygiene space, a teacher’s office, a separate toilet block – Girls, Boys. Disabled, Teachers and an outdoor multi-purpose sheltered area.  We are currently at the stage of agreeing a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Fields of Life.

 Practically Perfect a Fields of Life charity shop in Newtownards (opposite Knott’s bakery) are open for purchases and will welcome good quality donations of clothing, footwear and small household items / furniture. All profits go towards supporting the work of Fields of Life in East Africa. The opening hours are: 10am – 1pm & 2pm – 4pm, Thursday to Saturday.
 FIELDS OF LIFE (FoL) are holding an on-line INSPIRE Conference on Thursday 12 November at 8pm. You can expect:

  • inspiring stories and updates of their work in East Africa
  • interviews with special guests
  • meeting new members of the FoL team
  • worship
  • and much more

If you register by Monday 2nd November you’ll receive a conference pack directly to your door!
This conference will be broadcast live on Facebook and You Tube. Details and a link to the conference will be sent to all those who register.

 TESTIMONY TUESDAY Please continue to keep an eye out for our #TestimonyTuesday – every Tuesday a video message will be posted on Facebook (search for Mission 2020: Trinity Presbyterian), and also on the church website at with an individual sharing how Jesus has “changed their life.”

 DELIVERIES We have a list of people who would be available to make deliveries from local shops, to the homes of people socially isolating in the Greyabbey Area.
These deliveries will be made in the afternoon and will have been pre-paid so there will be no need to handle money. You will be asked to lift the delivery from a local shop and leave it at the door of the delivery address.
