CLOUGHEY PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN are hosting a craft evening in Trinity Presbyterian Church Cloughey on Mon 14th October at 7.30pm. Our guest for the evening is Jacqui Brachi who will teach us pebble art. All ladies welcome. Come along and enjoy an evening of fun and fellowship. Supper provided.

 MEN’S FELLOWSHIP The next meeting of the Men’s Ministry will be held on Tues 15th October at 9.30am in the Youth Room, Trinity Greyabbey, with breakfast in Alchemy at 10.00am at a cost of £8. Following breakfast, we return to the Youth Room for some fellowship.

 DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS will meet this week at their various times and locations. Please note we will be studying Daniel Chapter 4 Study 5  in our books “Our God Reigns”

 WinGS Our next meeting will be held on Mon 21st October at 7.30pm in the Upper Room. Why not bring a friend or family member as this will be an evening focusing on harvest craft and is guaranteed to be a time of fun and fellowship.

 T@P meets next on Wed 23rd October in Cloughey (Minor Hall) and in Greyabbey (Upper Room) at 7.30pm.

 SHINE PARTY we are holding a ‘SHINE PARTY’ in Cloughey on Fri 25th October from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. All children are welcome.

 CPW are hosting a lunch in Trinity Presbyterian Church Cloughey on Sat 26th October at 12.30pm. Our guest speaker will be Judith Hooks from Fire Lily. All ladies welcome, come along and enjoy good food and fellowship. Please sign the sheet in the foyer.

 LIGHT PARTY Our Light Party is back on Sat 26th October from 2.00pm – 4.00pm! Everyone of primary school age is invited along to a light and fun-filled afternoon.  70 YEARS OF WOMEN’S MINISTRY WinGS have planned to celebrate 70 years of Women’s Ministry in Trinity on Mon 18th November with a special event which will include Ellen Hillen, PW President, as our guest speaker. If anyone has old photographs, prayers or documents that would be of interest from the past, please let a WinGS committee member know as we will be trying to illustrate the work which Trinity women have been Entrusted with over the years.

 BB ENROLMENT The BB Leaders would like to send our thanks to; Neil & Michelle for taking the Service. Also, to Heather and the music team for leading the Praise. Thanks also to the Catering team for providing Hot Dogs for everyone after the Service. Thank you to our Church Family for reaching out to the BB Parents and Grandparents by making them feel so very welcome. 

 HARVEST THANKS A big thank you to all the ministries/organisations for their displays in the church and vestibule, also once again to Nance and the ladies for decorating the main sanctuary. A Special thanks to everyone who contributed produce and items for Store House, they will be greatly appreciated in helping their work in our community.

 Abura P.S. & I Am Fed – Update Oct ‘24  Copies of the above leaflets are available in the Welcome Areas.  This recaps our help over the last year.  It’s amazing what God has done through our support in transforming the lives of many children & teachers.   

 HARVEST OFFERING – Trinity Greyabbey Our Harvest Special Offering aims to support Year 3 of the ‘I Am Fed’ programme at Abura P.S., with any surplus going to our general mission fund.  Donations can be made in any of the following ways: Using the ‘Harvest Special Collection’ envelope (green) in the October section of your FWO pack; or On-line, (for those who normally contribute this way) remembering to include your FWO number and the word ‘Harvest’; or In an envelope marked ‘Greyabbey Harvest’. Any loose collections will also go to this missional project.

 GR Mission Team (potential) An exciting opportunity of another Mission Team to Uganda (Abura P.S.) is being considered. A ‘Mission Trip to Uganda (Abura P.S.) Information Leaflet’ will be distributed on your way into our Church Service today. This gives a brief overview and includes the likely Team purpose, possible Team activities, an example itinerary along with many of the practical aspects. If you have any queries, or are interested in being a Team member, please speak to Joan Brown (077 8966 2972). Copies of the information leaflet will be available in both Trinity Greyabbey and Trinity Cloughey Welcome Areas over the next few weeks. 

 CLOUGHEY HARVEST DECORATIONS The focus this year will be on the feeding programme for children which is run by Challenge Ministries (our mission partner) in Eswatini. Donations from the following list will be used to decorate the church building and then be prepared for loading on the next CMS container at Greyabbey for shipping to Eswatini this month.

  • Dried Pasta or rice.
  • Tins of Tuna, Ham, Corned beef.
  • Tins of vegetables (Not sweetcorn)

Donations of flowers and vegetables will also be gratefully received. Suitable items will be forwarded to The Storehouse food bank. Donations of dried or tinned food stuffs can be left at the Solid Rock Café on Wednesday. The Church building will be open on Sat 19th at 12.00pm to accept Harvest Donations. If you are free, you would be welcome to come along at 1.00pm to help the team decorate.

 CLOUGHEY HARVEST OFFERING Our Harvest Thanksgiving Offering will be dedicated to paying off the deficit on the Borehole Costs at Ngwenya, Eswatini. Your offering can be made in several different ways: If you normally give online please quote your FWO number and the word Harvest; Or if you normally use envelopes, please use the green one found in the October Section (Harvest Special Collection); Or using an envelope marked (Cloughey Harvest). Any loose collection will also go to this missional project.

 CLOUGHEY HARVEST- EVENING SERVICE We are looking forward to a visit from the Challenge Ministries, Kuhula Choir at the Cloughey Harvest evening service at 6.30 pm. You are very welcome to come along as we worship and praise God celebrating Harvest whilst we listen to the choir and hear some testimonies. Refreshments will be served after the service.
