MEN’S MINISTRY The last meeting of the Men’s Ministry will be held on Tues 5th December. We will meet at Trinity Greyabbey at 9.00am and travel to the Mad Hatter cafe in Eglinton Avenue for Breakfast at 10.30am, followed by a visit to the Ulster Museum. Please let John McAvoy know by Mon 4th if you are going.

 CHRISTMAS KIDS PARTY All children of primary school age are invited to join us for a Christmas Party on Sat 9th December, 2.00pm-4.00pm, in Trinity Greyabbey.  CHRISTMAS TEA Cloughey Heritage Group in conjunction with Cloughey Trinity Presbyterian Church, are holding a Senior Citizen Christmas Tea, with live entertainment, on Sat 9th Dec  2.00pm – 5.00pm ish.  In the Bailie Hall, entrance Free, (donations are ALSO welcome!).  Special Guests are expected. 

 CHRISTMAS NATIVITY GR We are excited to announce that we will be having a Christmas Nativity this year as part of the Gift Service on Sun 10th December. Members of Creche, K4C and Re:Gen will all be taking part – we kindly ask that youth and children from K4C and Re:Gen attend the practices on Sundays 19th Nov, 26th Nov and 3rd Dec (during the usual K4C slot). All those taking part (creche, K4C and Re:Gen) are also asked to attend the dress rehearsal on Thurs 7th December from 6.00pm. 

 TEAM ABURA Our next meeting is on Mon 11th Dec at 7.30pm, Solid Ground to review our mission trip and prepare for our feedback service on Sun 14th Jan.

 T@P meets next on Wed 13th December  in Cloughey (Minor Hall) and in Greyabbey (Upper Room) at 7.30pm.

 CLOUGHEY PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN Ladies please sign the sheet in the Cloughey vestibule if you wish to go to Harrisons for Christmas dinner on Mon 18th December.

 WinGS CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION The annual Christmas dinner will be held this year at Harrisons restaurant on Mon 18th of Dec at 7.00pm. Dinner will be served at 7.30pm. The cost of the dinner will be £25.00 per person and this must be included when booking in an envelope clearly marked with your name. Final bookings by Sun 10th Dec.

 URGENT APPEAL FOR CHILDREN’S BOOKS We are looking for children’s books to send to Eswatini in the next Challenge Ministries container scheduled to go in early December. These will be used for a school library in Eswatini. Books required are for Primary school age and up to 16 years of age. If you have any that can be donated please speak to Alan Ryder, David Herron or Joan Brown.  

 STOREHOUSE (FOODBANK) CHRISTMAS APPEAL Storehouse will be delighted to receive any Christmas food items at this time. They have asked for large tins of ham, Mince pies, small Christmas cakes and small Christmas puddings (all non-alcoholic), sweets, tinned biscuits etc. Monetary gifts are also welcome which will be used to purchase food vouchers. The last date for us to take items to Storehouse is Thurs 7th December, so we would be grateful if you could bring any donations by Wed 6th December.

 BELFAST CITY MISSION – Christmas Appeal 2023 – As in previous years Trinity are supporting this Annual Christmas Appeal.  Belfast City Mission are asking for the following items: Selection Boxes; Tins of sweets (Roses, Quality Street, Haribo etc.); Boxes of biscuits; Monetary gifts; Gift Cards (£5, 10, 15, 20); Supermarket Vouchers (Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, M&S); Toy Stores (Smyths, Argos etc.); Groceries (non-perishable). All items are to be UNWRAPPED, and they will be received at our Gift Services in both CL & GR on Sun 10th December.  

 USED STAMPS The Leprosy mission have stopped taking the used stamps we have been collecting. We have now decided to give these to RNIB. Please put any used stamps into the RNIB box in the vestibule.

 FIELDS OF LIFE CHARITY SHOP is now in Ballyhackamore,  open 9.30 am – 4.30 pm Mon to Sat.  Donations of good quality items are always required to keep the shop going – clothing, shoes, handbags, jewellery, homeware etc. Unfortunately we cannot take electrical items. We look forward to your visit.

 KIWOKO HOSPITAL UGANDA Anne Allen has dishcloths (100% cotton and many colours), all donations go to Kiwoko hospital Uganda. She will have them at church or can deliver, her phone no is 07921 651 355.

 PENINSULA PRAISE CHOIR ‘Carols & Classics’ on Sun 3rd Dec at 7.00pm in Ballywalter Presbyterian Church. Refreshments in church hall afterwards. Retiring offering to support Choir’s ministry and Church Missions Fund.

 Thank You to all those who supported the Eswatini Hope & Glory Ladies Choir when they were with us in late Oct.  £905 was contributed and this will be used to support their project to raise funds for a family of five young brothers who tragically lost both parents.

 Thank You for all those who contributed to our GR Harvest Collection. £4,640 inc. Gift Aid was received and this will be used to support our mission projects including Year 2 of our ‘I Am Fed’ programme at Abura P.S. through our Mission Partner Fields of Life.   

 Thank you to all those who contributed to our CL Harvest Collection. £1,510 inc. Gift Aid was received and this will be used to support our Solar Borehole Water Project at Ngwenya, Eswatini through our mission partner Challenge Ministries.
