SOLID GROUND CAFE ON TUESDAYS The Solid Ground team would like to thank everyone who has supported the cafe during the year. We are delighted to learn that the Henderson Group are again match funding donations made to our chosen charity, Tearfund, during December. Representatives from Tearfund will be joining us for our Christmas Special on Tues 9th Dec between 9.00am – 1.00 pm, please call in and join us for some festive treats. The cafe will be open as normal on Tues 16th Dec, but closed on Tuesdays 23rd and 30th Dec.
TRINITY MISSION TEAM Our next meeting will take place on this Tue 2nd Dec at 7.45pm in the Upper Room.
KIDS CHRISTMAS PARTY All children of primary school age are invited along to a fun-filled and free afternoon celebrating the real meaning of Christmas! On Sat 6th Dec, 2-4pm in Trinity Greyabbey. CPW Mon 8th Dec, Cloughey Presbyterian Women are meeting for Christmas dinner at Whitehouse Inn, Ardminnon. Ladies you are welcome to join us, sign-up sheet in the foyer, or speak to a committee member. All money to be paid by 30th Nov, a time of food, fun and fellowship. All ladies welcome, come along and bring a friend.
CHURCH MAGAZINES If you would like to order for 2026: Presbyterian Herald @ £20.00 for 10 copies or the Inspire Magazine @ £10.00 for 4 copies. Total for both if required £30.00. Please put your name and address along with the required amount into an envelope for the attention of Harold. Place either in church collection plate or direct to Harold on or before Sun 7th Dec. Thank you.
STOREHOUSE CHRISTMAS APPEAL 2025 – by THIS Sun 30th Nov. Storehouse Christmas Appeal has asked for donations to use in the 400 – 500 hampers they will give to those in need in early December. Alongside the usual groceries they are asking for Christmas fayre to include: Mince Pies, Small & large Christmas Cakes / Puddings (These cannot be given out if they contain alcohol), Shortbread, Boxes of Biscuits, Tins of Ham, Packets of Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, Gravy Granules, Shloer, Chocolates, Sweets. A list can be found on the Storehouse collection boxes in our welcome areas. Any donations are requested by Sunday 30th Nov using the Storehouse collection boxes in our Welcome areas. They have asked for our donations by Mon 1st Dec.
BELFAST CITY MISSION – 2025 Christmas Appeal NEXT Sun 7th Dec As in previous years Trinity, are supporting this worthy Christmas Appeal that helps so many families in need. Belfast City Mission has identified the following items as suitable – all gifts to be UNWRAPPED: New Toys; Selection Boxes; Tubs of Sweets; Boxes of biscuits; Monetary gifts; Gift Cards (Supermarket, Toy Stores); Groceries (non-perishable).
Donated items will be received at our Christmas Tree Services on Sun 7th Dec.
DISH CLOTHS This year donations from my dishcloths all go to TEAR FUND. They are 100 % cotton and I have many colours available. Thanks, Anne Allen.
2026 FLOWER LISTS for Greyabbey (GR) & Cloughey (CL) On most Sundays, members of the congregation contribute to our worship by donating the flowers that are displayed in Church. We now need to update both the GR and CL Flower Lists for 2026. Please indicate on the sheet in the Vestibules, or email Fiona, by Sun 30th Nov if you: Would like to be added to or removed from the Flower List, or; transfer from GR to CL List or from the CL to GR List.
TESCO BLUE TOKENS Grey Abbey PS are one of the 3 options in Tesco until December. If you’re in, please drop a few tokens in to help the school provide food for the Breakfast Club.
GR HARVEST THANKSGIVING OFFERING Thank You to everyone who contributed so generously to our Harvest offering. Over £4,400 (inc. Gift Aid & café donations) was received in support of our Abura School Fence Project. This equates to over 120 metres of fencing. Thank You.
