MYANMAR EARTHQUAKE RELIEF EFFORT The recent powerful earthquake caused widespread destruction; described as the worst devastation in South East Asia in over 100 years. There is an urgent need for a range of vital supplies. Our Moderator has warmly commended the needs of the people to us and encouraged our support directly to PCI’s development partners: Tearfund www.tearfund.org or Christian Aid www.christianaid.ie who have launched appeals focusing primarily on the relief effort. Alternatively, just use one of the ‘orange’ envelopes at the back of your pack and put it into the offering plate, remembering to indicate this is for ‘Mayanmar’. Thank you.
